DJGG Goes Nuclear, Tom1884 Left in Ashes
Week 1 in the books, and the box scores are already lying to some of these managers. DJGG dropped a league-best 188.26 and turned Tom1884 into a cautionary tale, while RaiderNation0409 needed every last one of 149.16 points just to survive a 5.5-point nail-biter. TANK1227 put up the third-highest score in the league and still went home 0-1, which tells you everything about how cruel this game can be. Meanwhile Caleb Williams dropped 37.26 points for a team that still lost, and somebody left Christian Watson's 32.70 points glued to the bench in a blowout win. Buckle up, it's going to be a long season for at least two of these rosters.

The Matchups
RaiderNation0409 needed all 149.16 points to squeak past StableSlinky's 143.66, the closest game of the week by a mile at just 5.5 points. Here's the problem: RaiderNation's all-play record this week was a losing 2-3-0, meaning the schedule gods, not the roster, bailed them out — that's a lucky win with the receipts to prove it. Add in 25.6 points stranded on their own bench (85.35% efficiency) and this was a heist, not a statement. StableSlinky can at least point to Caleb Williams' 37.26-point boom and a tighter 90.37% bench efficiency and still walk away with nothing to show for it — brutal.

TANK1227 dropped 156.86 points, the third-best total in the entire league this week, and still lost — that's the definition of an unlucky loss, and the Hard-Luck Loser award with a 3-2-0 all-play record backs it up completely. Twenty-eight of those points never left the bench either (84.83% efficiency), so TANK1227 basically beat themselves before mission909 even got involved. Mission909, on the other hand, ran a near-flawless operation at 93.93% bench efficiency, leaving only 11.5 points on the table en route to 178 — the second-highest score of the week. Justin's not walking away from this one with a moral victory, TANK1227's just walking away 0-1.

DJGG demolished Tom1884 188.26 to 129.46, a 58.8-point massacre that stands as the week's biggest blowout and vaulted DJGG straight to the top of both the scoreboard and the standings. Even in a rout DJGG wasn't perfect — 33.3 points left on the bench at 84.97% efficiency, including Christian Watson's 32.70 sitting behind a starter who mustered a measly 3.00. Tom1884, meanwhile, gets the full ignominy tour: lowest score of the week, Colston Loveland's zero-point no-show, and, in an almost poetic twist, the exact same 84.97% bench efficiency as the team that just buried them. Same inefficiency, wildly different outcomes — that's fantasy football.

The Bottom Line
DJGG served notice with a 188.26-point blowout and somehow still left 33.3 points on the bench, which should terrify the rest of the league once that lineup gets tightened up. RaiderNation0409 will take the 1-0, but a 2-3-0 all-play record and a 5.5-point margin means the receipts say they got away with one. Spare a thought for TANK1227, who outscored half the league and still lost, and for Tom1884, who got run over by 58.8 points and a zero from Colston Loveland in the same week. Week 2 better bring some payback, because at this rate the all-play records are going to start telling a very different story than the standings.
