Playoff spots are set. Losers are practicing their excuses. This is the last week of the regular season.

The final regular-season standings are in and the Gridiron Geniuses have sorted themselves into their proper hierarchies — at least for now.

Travis K closes the regular season at 9-4, first place, quietly terrifying. Kelce's Angels look exactly like a championship team. That's usually when something goes wrong.

Hillary T sneaks in at 7-6 as the final playoff seed after an opponent's kicker shanked a 22-yarder in the last minute of Sunday night. Fantasy sports are not a sport. They are a test of spiritual fortitude.

Stefan D misses the playoffs at 6-7 with the third-highest points total in the league. Stefan would like everyone to know this is because the schedule was "statistically improbable." He has prepared a spreadsheet. No one has looked at it.

Derek H finishes at 4-9 and immediately begins talking about his 2020 draft strategy. The audacity is, genuinely, inspiring.

Seeds 1-6 are set. Bracket goes up tomorrow. The trash talk has already started. The Gridiron Geniuses are about to find out who actually built a team and who just got lucky for 13 weeks.
